A. Features
- The lightest among the synthetic fibers.
- Subject to the same weight abt. 25% longer in length than nylon and abt.
50% than polyester.
- As the specific gravity is abt. 0.91, it float on the water.
- Do not absorb the water.
- No decrease of tensile strength by moisture.
- Resistant to chemicals, oils and mildew.
- The cheapest among the synthetic fibers.
- As not only PP(polypropylene) is the cheapest resin but also the longest
in the length subject to the same weight
B. Uses
- SEWING THREAD: various small & large bulk bag made of pp flat yarn woven
cloth.
- STRING : flshing nets, sports net, shoe laces.
- WEBBING : handles of bags, belt, cargo-slings.
- ROPES : boat & yacht line, ropes for ship, fishing & ground uses.
- WOVEN CLOTH : filter cloth, canvass,geo-mat for reinforcing & protecting.
